Deke Whitbeck

President

Deke and his family have deep roots in Arkansas.  He is an avid sportsman and has a passion for conservation education and its impact on Arkansas.

 

Deke’s wife, Sarah, is a first grade teacher in Little Rock. They have two beautiful daughters, Cate and Charley. Deke and Sarah love spending time with the girls exploring Arkansas’ outdoors!

RUTH-KATHRYN KELLY

Director of Operations

Ruth-Kathryn Kelly is a native Arkansan, originally from West Memphis. She has worked for the Foundation for over 4 years, ultimately becoming the Director of Operations. She received a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from The University of Alabama in 2009, and has worked in the nonprofit community in various forms since that time. Her passion for conservation education ties back to her time spent in adult education and literacy. She currently resides in Conway with her husband, Bobby M Kelly III and their two daughters; Sue Ellen and Gloria.

TYLER LAWRENCE

Director of Events & Programming

Tyler was born and raised in Arkansas, spending most of his youth living in Pangburn near the Little Red River. He joins the foundation from The National Wild Turkey Federation, where he worked as a Regional Director for 3 years. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Central Arkansas, and has been involved in the nonprofit community for most of his life. Tyler is a long time hunter and fisherman, passing on that passion to his two sons Pierce and Beau and wife Jennifer. They currently reside in Greenbrier.

Jibbie Tucker Tyler

If Jibbie has a choice to be inside or outside, she will always choose outside. She enjoys the beauty of the Natural State & finds an excuse to be in it as much as possible.  She was born and raised in Little Rock. She joined Arkansas Game & Fish Foundation in May 2022 to kick off the new corporate partnership program.  Jibbie has two children, Breck & Presley.  She is extremely proud of her kids & loves to share the appreciation of Arkansas’s gorgeous landscape with them.

Jacob Harper

Events & Programming Coordinator

Jacob is an Arkansas native, who is the youngest of a long line of avid hunter/fishermen. He was born and raised in Benton, Arkansas, molded into a young man at Catholic High School for Boys, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communications at Arkansas Tech in Russellville, Arkansas. He comes to the Foundation with a background in environmental regulation from his time working with the Communications Department at the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment. He also brings experience in hospitality from helping out with events and catering with a local restaurateur. He currently lives in Little Rock with his wife, Kendall, and their dog and cat. He is extremely excited for the opportunity to push the Foundation's message forward to the youth of Arkansas while continuing to complement the progress the Foundation has made over the past 40 years.
